Dr. Bob Brier will present "Mummification: Resurrection of a Lost Art" in this final lecture of the Mummy Mania series.
Known to many as "Mr. Mummy," Dr. Bob Brier is an Egyptologist specializing in paleopathology. He is one of the world's foremost experts on mummies, and is the first person in 2,000 years to mummify a human with the exact techniques of the ancient Egyptians. That mummy, Mumab, is now on view in "Mummies of the World." In this lecture, Dr. Brier will share his expertise on mummification gained through experimental study.
